The Eresin Crown Hotel (Special Class Hotel - Deluxe) opened in 2001, a classy newcomer to Istanbul's old city. During construction of the foundations of the hotel, amazing archaeological treasures from Roman and Byzantine periods were unearthed, such as a cistern, a mosaic, and marble columns, which now decorate the hotel and make it into a private museum!
