Elkip Evi

Urgup

Elkip Evi is two seven-room bed and breakfast pensions managed jointly to maintain the intimacy of two small hotels. The pensions offer cave rooms with modern luxuries and are located across the lane from each other near the top of Esbelli, the hill above the town of Urgup in Cappadocia. Each spacious cave room is traditionally furnished with an emphasis on comfort and includes an en suite bathroom. The hotel is centrally heated throughout and provides constant hot water. Each guestroom enjoys a varying aspect of the Anatolian landscape from its own private terrace, offering the ideal location for relaxation or a sundown cocktail. The common room, Selamlik, is a communal area where one can relax and enjoy a glass of Turkish tea in authentic Ottoman splendor. In this very special room and indeed throughout the hotel, careful consideration has been taken to use remnants of the past to enhance the decor. All rooms are traditionally decorated, however, being on the verge of the 21st century, each room includes private shower and w/c, almost inexhaustible hot water, central heating, wood floors, luxurious bedding and IDD telephone service.
